ABOUT KRAKOW
Krakow was the capital of Poland for over 600 years. It is registered as one of the 12 cities on the UNESCO World Heritage List and claims its position as the City of culture, art and science. It is host
to one of the oldest, largest and most reputable universities in Europe, the Jagiellonian University .
City life in Krakow is centered around the Market Square which is the second largest in Europe after
St. Mark's Square in Venice. It is full of horse-drawn carriages, cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants
all bustling with activity.
Krakow harmoniously embraces its unique cultural heritage with it's constant growth and development. A convenient geographic location, highly educated workforce, scientific potential, low rents and low wages, are just some of the arguments in favor of Krakow as a place to invest. There are over 100 000 private business and nearly 2 000 public firms aggregating 14.6 billion Euro in revenue. Each year
a larger number of companies are establishing offices in Krakow and with the development of the new Krakow Business Park that is strategically located on the main East-West corridor, the number
of businesses moving to Krakow are rising.
